The KTM Greece owners and friends community has "languished" for some time now and despite several discussions, no revival attempt was successful.

For a few months now an attempt has been made through a known social networking platform, aiming to gather under a common roof, Greek KTM 640/690/950/990/1190/1290, but mainly LC8 owners. With this group as a tool and the common passion for orange monsters as connective tissue, gatherings, small rides, and adventure travels have begun to organize.

The first Adventure Travel of team KTM LC8 950/990 Owners GR was "LC8 Rally Central Greece 2015", a Greek equivalent event of the "LC8 Rally Western Alps 2015" organized by the big LC8 Community in Europe.

LC8 Agrafa 08

The excursion took place on 17 & 18 October and was organized and hosted by the active riders of Team Most Wanted Warehouse.
Initially, we moved northwest through the National Park of mount Parnassos heading to Drosochori and finally Gravia to refuel. Then we headed to Kaloskopi so we circled the northern part of mount Giona. The first 100+ gravel km rolled relatively easily and with only a few contingencies, a normal part of a real Adventure Excursion. The first stop of the day for coffee & snack was necessary since the mount had already started wearing us out.

Having rested for a little, we rode once again our orange beasts and took the road to Daphne, East, and Argiria. There, our gravel session ended and already very hungry we headed to Makrakomi for a sumptuous dinner. After that things got very interesting with the arrival in our 5-star hotel with SPA (!!!). Imagine the receptionist’s surprise when she saw 10 muddy guys standing on the carpet waiting for the key to their room ...

LC8 Agrafa 13

After a night in front of the fireplace with lots of booze and stories about how we spent our day, we woke up even more ready for "war."
The day began with a tarmac session to Karpenissi for refueling and second-morning coffee (we do that a lot in Greece!). From there we started our ascent to Steni and Kerasohori with alternating parts of gravel and asphalt mountain roads. In Krenti we started the serious dirt-part to Agrafa. On our arrival there we meet our friends from Karditsa. There we did our afternoon stop for coffee and snacks.

The day continued with three additional members to the team & we headed to Kamaria. There followed the mountain’s ridge all the way to the church of St. Nicholas of Agrafa. Slowly we began the descent and stopped for afternoon fish dinner just before Belokomiti. We had to get our strength back since we would have a long night of 400+ tarmac kilometers until our return back home.
